What's the difference between the two modes?
Reframe recomposes the picture into a new ratio and is the cheaper of the two. Exact dimensions lands on the numbers you type, to the pixel, anywhere up to 2048 on each side, which is what an ad platform or a storefront usually wants.
Why would I need exact dimensions?
Because plenty of places reject anything that is not their exact size. This hands you the file already correct, so there is no round trip through another app to crop it.
Are there input limits?
Reframe takes images up to 4 megapixels. Exact dimensions takes any upload up to 5MB and outputs up to 2048 pixels on a side.
Does resizing stretch my image?
No. Both modes recompose the scene rather than pulling the pixels about, so faces and products keep their proportions.
